this was originally in scraps, but i noticed that lots of ppl love this so i decided to move this to my gallery =)

it was a statue that is still in progress, a statue of Vishnu and his garuda(a type of bird, i don't know if it really exists or just in myths)...this one is the garuda part of it, and when i visited it i accidentally saw this tourist girl going down near it...i thought this might be good so i took a shot =)

i have uploaded a picture of the statue of Vishnu in my scrap lol =D

That statue looks amazing, and so beautiful too. The way it towers over the girl-- I can only imagine how small she must have felt at that moment. Nice job at capturing this shot!

Incredible photo. Really shows the scale of the statue compared to her. Garuda by the way was a giant bird (birdman? I dunno) of Indian myth. :)

But yeah, that statue is huge! It really gives the impression that its real just towering over her. Have to fave it. :)

a yeah it was from Indian myth, but ppl in Balinese also adopt it cuz most of the ppl there are hinduist which originated from Indina ;p

Yeah I thought I remember seeing a documentary on Bali and they had a scary looking Garuda costume someone was wearing. Looked cool! :P
